Meet Natalie Rummel

Hello everyone!

My name is Natalie Rummel and I am one of the two ASD Special Education Teachers here at Kenwood. This is my first year with Kenwood, but my fourth year working in the Minneapolis Public School District.

I received a Bachelors degree from the College of Wooster in Ohio and received a Masters Degree in Special Education this past spring at the University of Minnesota.

In my classroom we welcome and celebrate each student as the unique child they are. We learn through play and exploring our natural environments with a balance of structured learning targeted to the individual needs of each student.

I was born in Minneapolis and have always called South Minneapolis home. My favorite ways to spend my free time is to go on walks around the lakes, yoga, play video games and board games, reading, and visit my parents' dogs.
