Ms. Hunt, Band Teacher

About Ms. Hunt:

Ms. Hunt will teach at Kenwood on Thursdays and Fridays for the 2022-2023 school year.

Maureen Hunt (She/her) is starting her second year with us at Kenwood. She is excited to continue working with and playing music with our 5th graders as they learn to play a band instrument.

She has been teaching in Minneapolis since 2009. Maureen likes to sing harmony, and she spent five years living in Japan in the 1990s. Ms. Hunt knows Japanese, loves Japanese food and even tried Taiko drumming!  She likes doing yoga, spending time in the great outdoors and helping young people find their musical spark!
