Hi Kenwood students and families! 

My name is Angie Burgau and I will be the Speech-Language Pathologist at Kenwood. I graduated in May 2021 with a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology and am so excited and ready to begin my career here in Minneapolis. I developed a passion for supporting children’s communication needs while working as a special education assistant at another school within the district in 2018-2019. I left this position to attend graduate school but could not wait to get back and begin serving student’s speech and language needs as a SLP!  

A little more about me: Outside of school, I enjoy boating and swimming in the summertime, listening to podcasts and country music, cooking new recipes, visiting family and friends, and thrift shopping. I am also an animal lover and have a cat named “Kitty” (I named her when I was 8 years old!). 

I am excited to meet all of you and begin working toward each student and family’s goals.

I will be at Kenwood Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:15pm this year.
