Hello! My name is Talia Shapiro Strand, but students call me Ms. Tali at school.
I am so excited to start working at Kenwood this year! I have been teaching for eight years in Wisconsin, California, and Colorado. I am originally from Minneapolis and just moved back home this summer.
I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Elementary Education and ESL and earned my master's at University of Colorado-Boulder in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity.
When I am not at school, I love reading, running, walking around the lakes, and spending time with friends and family.
